What Happens When Cocaine and Alcohol are Taken Together? A Guide for Law Enforcement
Cocaine and Alcohol create a huge problem for law enforcement. From violence to sudden death, you need to stay informed about this drug trend.

The use of cocaine and alcohol used in combination has emerged as a significant concern, particularly in law enforcement contexts. Suspects under the influence of this combination of drugs can be violent and have detrimental health effects that police officers should know about. Of specific concern are those driving under the influence. The two drugs taken concurrently can cause a substance called cocaethylene, which can magnify intoxication. The focus will be on four critical aspects: enhanced euphoria and reduced sedation, the formation of cocaethylene, behavioral changes with an emphasis on violence, and the potential for lethality.
