Advanced Cartel Surveillance Center Discovered in Jalisco, Mexico
Mexican authorities uncovered an advanced communications and surveillance center operated by the Cartel Jalisco New Generation (CJNG) in Teocaltiche, Jalisco. The discovery was made during a raid on several buildings used by the cartel. In addition to a network of surveillance cameras and monitors, the facility contained radio antennas and other communications equipment. A nearby building housed a drone, tactical vests, body armor, rifles, road spikes, and ammunition. The discovery comes amid escalating violence in the region, including terrorist attacks and mass abductions orchestrated by CJNG. This sophisticated communication center indicates the advanced capabilities of the cartel, which continues to pose a significant threat to law enforcement and the general public.
