The Mexican Navy, in coordination with the Attorney General's Office, recently located and dismantled a large clandestine laboratory for the production of synthetic drugs in Alayá, Sinaloa. The operation resulted in the seizure of approximately 8,000 kilograms of methamphetamine, 33,150 kilograms of chemical precursors, and various specialized equipment including 12 reactors, 21 condensers, and two mixers. The economic impact of this raid on organized crime is estimated to be more than $56 million. This lab is noted to be one of the largest and most well-equipped to be secured this year.
