Fentanyl and Flakka, a Dangerous Mix
Recently, a sheriff's department in the Midwest found a suspect with several pills for sale in his possession. The lab later identified the pills as a mixture of Flakka and fentanyl. As you might recall, flakka is the "bath salt" that swept the nation, specifically Florida, and resulted in a number of highly publicized incidents. Fentanyl is the deadly opiate that is significantly more powerful than morphine. The suspect told the officers that he got the pills from the "darknet", which is a part of the internet where users can remain anonymous while purchasing pretty much anything they want. So, why would you want flakka and fentanyl mixed together? It's possible that the suspect that bought the drugs had no idea that the two drugs were mixed. He may have thought he was buying some other drug. However, fentanyl has become the go to cutting agent for a number of drugs. From coke to meth to heroin, fentanyl has been used to cut all of the major street drugs.
