BAC Percentage as it Correlates to Driving
What Does BAC Really Mean?
The other day I was asked by a DA about the human dynamics of alcohol. Basically, a drunk caused an accident (non-DUI, just a straight up accident causing injury) and he wanted to know more about the human dynamics of being drunk. We deal with drunks every day, but have we ever had to really explain the human dynamics of being intoxicated?
Breaking down BAC Into Usable Bits
So, just in case you ever need it, here we go with the basic human dynamics of being drunk. Step by step, based on your BAC, is what happens as you become intoxicated. However, this table shows effects on driving. Effects on driving are very similar to effects on most of our every day activities, since most of what we do involve the same dynamics as driving; multi tasking, decision making, judgement, etc.
